Do Riker Mounts prevent insects from getting in and damaging the displayed item, or is some sort of insecticide needed? I would like to display horsehair baskets and had an issue with one (not in Riker Mount) getting eaten by a tiny unidentified critter. Do Riker Mounts prevent insects from getting in and damaging the displayed item, or is some sort of insecticide needed? I would like to display horsehair baskets and had an issue with one (not in Riker Mount) getting eaten by a tiny unidentified critter.
Small insects would be able to enter the Riker Mount unless you seal around the lid or use some type of insecticide.
